Missing Teen Found Dead After Ashkelon Beach Drowning
The body of 17-year-old Emad Abdel Aziz Al-Kharabsha from the village of Al-Fura'a in the Negev was recovered on Monday morning near Delilah Beach in Ashkelon, following an extensive search. Al-Kharabsha had gone missing after a drowning incident the previous day.
Paramedics from Magen David Adom reported that they responded to a call about three individuals who had drowned near the beach. They transported a 24-year-old man to the hospital in serious condition and a 17-year-old boy in mild condition. A third individual, also a teenager, was reported missing.
Emergency forces conducted a large-scale search operation. Al-Kharabsha's body was found at the water's edge on Monday morning. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene after determining he was unconscious, without pulse or breathing.
Al-Kharabsha was a resident of the Bedouin village of Al-Fura'a in the Negev region of southern Israel.
