Two Drownings Reported in Israel: Teen Found on Ashkelon Beach, Man Dies in Sea of Galilee
A man in his 30s was found dead on Saturday at a separate beach in the Sea of Galilee. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics responded to the scene after receiving a report at 11:23 AM, but were forced to pronounce him dead at the location after finding him unconscious, without a pulse or breathing.
Earlier on Saturday morning, the body of 17-year-old Emad Al-Krabsha was recovered from the sea off Delilah Beach in Ashkelon. Al-Krabsha, a resident of the Negev Bedouin diaspora, had gone missing on Friday. He was one of three people who reportedly drowned at the Ashkelon beach on Friday. Two others were rescued alive by emergency forces, while Al-Krabsha's body was found after extensive searches.
MDA paramedics who responded to the initial incident on Friday stated that they had evacuated a 24-year-old man to the hospital in serious condition and a 17-year-old in mild condition. They were informed that another teenager was missing in the water. Following extensive searches by emergency forces, the 17-year-old was found on the shoreline Saturday morning, unconscious and without vital signs, and pronounced dead at the scene.
