Settler Critically Wounded in Shooting Attack Near Halamish; Forces Pursue Perpetrator

A settler sustained critical injuries on Sunday in a shooting incident targeting a group of settlers near the Halamish settlement, also known as Nofei Tzuf, northwest of Ramallah. Israeli forces have deployed significant reinforcements to the area and launched a manhunt for the shooter.

According to Israeli reports, the shooting occurred from a passing vehicle directed at settlers near the Ein Riya spring, a water source controlled by settlers in the vicinity of the settlement. The identity of the perpetrator and the exact circumstances of the attack remain unconfirmed.

Israeli media outlets, including Kan 11, circulated a photo of a red Mitsubishi Outlander with a Palestinian license plate, suggesting it was used in the attack. However, there has been no official confirmation linking the vehicle to the shooter.

An Israeli rescue service operating in the West Bank initially reported one person injured at the scene. Later reports indicated the victim was in critical condition.

The Israeli military announced that large forces were pursuing the shooter and had established roadblocks and checkpoints around Nofei Tzuf.
