Settler Attack in West Bank Village Leaves Three Injured, Two Critically

Three Palestinians were injured, two seriously, on Sunday evening during an attack by Israeli settlers on the village of Hajjah, east of Qalqilya in the West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that two individuals sustained gunshot wounds from live ammunition, one in the head and the other in the chest. A 17-year-old boy was also shot in the thigh with live ammunition. All injured were transported to the hospital. The attack occurred under the protection of the Israeli military. This incident is part of a broader trend of escalating violations by Israeli forces and settlers against Palestinians, their land, and property. According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli soldiers and settlers carried out 2,023 attacks in August, with Israeli forces responsible for 1,402 and settlers for 628. These attacks were concentrated in Nablus, Ramallah and al-Bireh, Hebron, Bethlehem, Jenin, and Jerusalem.
