Gunmen Attack Hikers Near Gilad Farm in West Bank, Four Injured Including One Critically

A shooting attack occurred recently near Gilad Farm in the West Bank's Samaria region. A group of hikers was ambushed by several militants who stole their weapons and opened fire. Four hikers were wounded in the attack, with one in serious condition. Israeli Defense Forces, security forces, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

Magen David Adom reported that paramedics and military medical personnel are treating the four injured, including one unconscious victim. Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, was present at the site, coordinating with security forces and emergency responders. He stated that the incident is ongoing and emphasized the need for a strong, offensive response to pursue and eliminate the terrorists.

Dagan also stressed the importance of continuing to build and strengthen settlements in the West Bank despite the attack, warning that those who attempt to harm Israelis will face a stronger and larger Samaria community.
