Militants Attack Israeli Hikers in West Bank, Steal Weapon and Open Fire

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that militants attacked Israeli civilians hiking near the village of Tal, located in the Samaria Division of the West Bank. During the assault, the attackers stole the weapon of a security guard who arrived at the scene and opened fire on the civilians. Several Israelis were injured and evacuated to a hospital for treatment. In response, IDF forces launched a manhunt for the assailants and established roadblocks throughout the area. A siege was imposed on the city of Nablus and the village of Tal to contain the situation.
