Settlers Attack Homes in West Bank Village Under IDF Protection

Settlers, accompanied and protected by the Israeli military, raided homes in the village of Hajjah, east of Qalqilya, on Tuesday evening. Witnesses reported that the settlers systematically entered homes, forcibly expelling residents and assaulting them. Some residents were forced to leave the area under threat of weapons and physical violence.

The settlers reportedly used sticks and their hands to beat villagers, causing injuries and bruises. Residents stated that the military forces provided full protection to the settlers during the attacks, remaining silent as the assaults occurred. The raid created a state of fear and panic among residents, particularly women and children, who fled their homes.

Villagers described the incident as part of a series of attacks targeting the village and its surroundings, aimed at pressuring residents and forcing them to leave. These attacks have left deep psychological and social scars, with residents living in constant anxiety about further raids and facing challenges in protecting their homes and land.

A village elder condemned the event, calling it a "message aimed at uprooting us from our land and depriving us of our right to live safely in our homes." He affirmed the residents' commitment to remaining on their land and called for urgent intervention from human rights organizations to stop the repeated attacks.
