Man Critically Wounded in West Bank Shooting Attack; Manhunt Underway
A man in his 30s was critically injured on Sunday in a shooting attack near the settlement of Neve Tzuf in the Benjamin region of the West Bank. Israeli military forces were dispatched to the scene and launched a search for the assailant, who fled the area. Initial reports from the IDF indicated that the incident occurred in the vicinity of Neve Tzuf, within the Benjamin Brigade's area of operation. Medical teams from United Hatzalah provided initial treatment to the victim, whose condition was described as critical.
According to preliminary reports from Hatzalah Yehuda Shomron (HYS"G), the shooting took place near the Ein Ri'a spring, close to Neve Tzuf. Following the attack, the perpetrator escaped. Initial reports suggested a red Mitsubishi vehicle was involved in the escape, but HYS"G later stated that the possibility of the attacker fleeing on foot was also being investigated. Security forces are currently conducting extensive searches in the area to locate the suspect.
