Israel Weather Forecast: Slight Temperature Rise Expected Sunday
Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts a slight increase in temperatures for Sunday, September 20, bringing them close to seasonal averages. Variable cloudiness is also expected across the country. Highs will range from 29 degrees Celsius in Jerusalem to 36 degrees in Eilat. Other cities will see highs including Tel Aviv and Ashdod at 30 degrees, Haifa at 29 degrees, Beersheba at 31 degrees, and Ariel at 31 degrees. Coastal areas like the Dead Sea will reach 34 degrees, and the Sea of Galilee region will see highs of 34 degrees, with the Golan Heights reaching 33 degrees. Water temperature off the Mediterranean coast will be 29 degrees, with wave heights between 40-80 cm. Winds will be generally northwesterly along the Mediterranean coast, reaching up to 20 km/h in Tel Aviv and Haifa, and up to 25 km/h near the Sea of Galilee. The Eilat Bay area will experience northeasterly winds up to 25 km/h. No significant weather changes are anticipated for the following week, Monday through Saturday.
