Five Die in Multiple Road Accidents Across Israel in Hours

Five people were killed in separate road accidents across Israel within a few hours on Thursday. The fatalities included two men in their 30s who died in a collision between two private vehicles on Route 310 near Giv'ot Bar in the Negev. Emergency services pronounced them dead at the scene.

Later in the day, a cyclist in his 50s was struck and killed by a vehicle in northern Tel Aviv. Police arrested a suspect in connection with this incident.

In another incident on the Ayalon Highway near the KKL interchange, a bus collided with a car. The car's driver, a man in his 70s, was critically injured and later died at the hospital. Several other people were also injured in this crash.

In the evening, a motorcyclist in his mid-30s was killed in an accident on Route 780 near Kiryat Ata. Paramedics confirmed his death at the scene.

These fatal incidents add to a recent surge in road deaths in Israel. According to published data, over 300 people have died on Israeli roads since the beginning of 2026.
