Palestinian Man Arrested After Fatal Nablus Hit-and-Run
Israeli police have arrested a 24-year-old man from Nablus on suspicion of stealing a vehicle and causing a fatal traffic accident in central Israel. The suspect, who reportedly resides in Israel without permits, is believed to have been involved in the theft of the car that was later involved in the crash.
The accident resulted in the death of a cyclist. During an examination of the stolen vehicle, police discovered a bag containing tools suspected of being used for car theft, including an engine ignition device, a hammer, and tools for breaking into vehicles.
