Israel Railways Announces Sukkot Holiday Schedule Changes
Israel Railways has announced significant schedule adjustments for the upcoming Sukkot holiday, which begins next Friday. To facilitate optimal train movement during the festival, a special timetable will be in effect, featuring additional trains on the eve and conclusion of the holiday, as well as during the intermediate days (Chol HaMoed).
Passengers are advised to check travel times via the Israel Railways website, mobile application, or by calling the customer service center at *5770. The holiday schedule will largely mirror Friday and Saturday night timetables, with enhanced service on the Haifa-Tel Aviv line. This line will see increased frequency, with two trains per hour instead of the usual one.
Additionally, trains on the Hadera East-Rosh HaAyin North line will operate once per hour in each direction. During Chol HaMoed and the day after Sukkot (Asor Chag), the routes of some regular trains will be extended. Specifically, train 8030 will now start its journey at Be'er Sheva Center at 9:41 AM and conclude at Haifa Center HaShmona, instead of its usual terminus at Tel Aviv Savidor Center. Similarly, train 8037 will commence its route at Haifa Center HaShmona at 2:02 PM and end at Be'er Sheva Center.
Night train service between Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon and Herzliya will operate throughout the entire week during the holiday period.
