Israel Railways Adjusts Sukkot Schedule With More Trains
Israel Railways will operate an adjusted schedule during the Sukkot holiday period, featuring additional trains on holiday eves and throughout the intermediate days (Chol Hamoed). The company advises passengers to check exact travel times in advance via its website, official app, or customer service hotline.
On the eves and ends of both days of Sukkot, as well as the eve of the second holiday day and Hoshana Rabbah, and the end of Simchat Torah, train services will run on a Friday and Saturday night schedule. Specifically, the Haifa-Tel Aviv line will see increased frequency to two trains per hour in each direction, up from one. The Hadera East-Rosh Ha'ayin North line will operate one train per hour in each direction.
During Chol Hamoed Sukkot and the day after the holiday (Assur Chagg), some regular train routes will be extended. Train number 8030 will run from Be'er Sheva Center to Haifa Center HaShmona, instead of terminating in Tel Aviv Savidor Center. Train number 8037 will start its journey in Haifa Center HaShmona and end in Be'er Sheva Center, rather than beginning in Tel Aviv Savidor Center. Additionally, night trains between Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon and Herzliya will operate throughout the week.
