Train Services to Halt Early on Yom Kippur Eve, Resume Late Monday Night
Train services across Israel will operate on a special schedule on the eve of Yom Kippur, which falls on Sunday. All trains will conclude their runs at 1:00 PM on Sunday. According to Israel Railways, services until that time will be enhanced, running on a Friday schedule with an additional train every hour on the Haifa-Tel Aviv line. A special service will also operate on the Hadera East-Rosh HaAyin North line.
No train services will operate on Monday evening, following the conclusion of Yom Kippur. The rail service is set to resume with the overnight trains running between Monday and Tuesday. Israel Railways advises passengers to check train times on their website, mobile application, or by calling their customer service center at *5770.
