Israel Railways Adjusts Schedule for Yom Kippur Holiday
Israel Railways has announced schedule modifications in anticipation of the Yom Kippur holiday. On Sunday, September 20th, the eve of the holiday, passenger trains will operate on an enhanced schedule, similar to Friday's service, but will cease running at 1:00 PM. The Haifa-Tel Aviv line will see increased frequency, with two trains per hour instead of the usual one. Additionally, the Hadera-Mizrah to Rosh HaAyin-Tzafon line will be operational. These adjustments are intended to facilitate passenger travel before public transportation halts for the holiday. Train services will not resume on Monday evening, September 21st, following the conclusion of Yom Kippur. Operations will be restored on Tuesday, September 22nd, including overnight services between Monday and Tuesday.
