Macklemore Claims Global Conspiracy After Ed Sheeran Tour Removal

Rapper Macklemore alleges that Jewish NFL owner Robert Kraft orchestrated his removal from Ed Sheeran's ongoing tour, describing the situation as a "global conspiracy" aimed at silencing critics of Israel. Macklemore, who has previously expressed pro-Palestinian sentiments, stated on his X account that Sheeran informed him Kraft had threatened to prevent Sheeran from performing at Gillette Stadium, owned by Kraft's team.

Macklemore further claimed that Kraft rallied other stadium owners, who then presented Sheeran with an ultimatum: either Macklemore is removed from the tour, or Sheeran would be barred from performing at their venues. This action follows Macklemore's recent pro-Palestinian statements, including chanting "Free Palestine" during a previous performance while wearing a keffiyeh, and displaying images on screen that referred to events in Gaza as a "Holocaust."

The removal from the tour, which included eight additional dates in the United States, was officially attributed to stadium refusals to host the shows if Macklemore remained on the bill. Macklemore portrays himself as a victim of this alleged international effort to suppress dissenting voices regarding Israel.
