Missing Diver Found Dead After Three-Day Search in Haifa
The body of a 23-year-old Haifa resident who went missing at Students Beach in the city has been located after a three-day search. He was found deceased following an extensive police operation that utilized numerous resources, including drones, a police helicopter, sea boats and jet skis, horses, and jeeps.
The young man entered the water to free dive on Thursday and did not return. A family member, who was on a kayak, alerted rescue forces.
The search involved the Israel Police, with assistance from other forces, and focused on the area where the diver was last seen. The dive was conducted without equipment, in a free-diving capacity.
