Health Ministry Recalls Shkedia Jams Over Unusual Texture and Smell
Israel's Ministry of Health and Dean Marketing and Roasting, the distributor of Shkedia brand products, issued an urgent recall on Thursday for "Strawberry Fruit Delight" and "4 Fruit Delight" jams. The recall was prompted by customer complaints regarding unusual texture and smell in the products.
Consumers who purchased the affected items are advised not to consume them. The company is actively collecting the products and removing them from store shelves. This recall is being conducted in coordination with the Central District Food Service of the Ministry of Health.
The recalled products are "Strawberry Fruit Delight" or "4 Fruit Delight" jams, manufactured by Linwei Dashen Food Co., Ltd. in Shandong, China. The importer is Dean Marketing and Roasting 2021 Ltd. The affected items are in 284-gram containers with an expiration date of April 7, 2028, and bear barcodes 7290016276756 and 7290019297420.
