Popular Jam Recalled Over Off Odor and Texture Complaints
Dean Marketing and Roasting has issued a recall for its "Strawberry Fruit Delight" and "4 Fruit Delight" jams due to consumer complaints about unusual smell and texture. The company announced on Thursday that it is collecting the affected products and removing them from distribution channels.
Customers who purchased these products are advised not to consume them. The recall is being conducted in coordination with the Ministry of Health's Central District Food Service.
The recalled products are "Strawberry Fruit Delight" and "4 Fruit Delight" jams, manufactured by Linwei Dashen Food Co., Ltd. in Shandong, China, and imported by Dean Marketing and Roasting 2021 Ltd. under the "Shekedia" brand. The affected items are in 284-gram containers with an expiration date of April 7, 2028, and barcodes 7290016276756 and 7290019297420.
