Popular "Shakedia" Fruit Spread Recalled Over Off Odor and Texture
Dean Marketing and Roasting Company is recalling two "Shakedia" brand fruit spread products due to consumer complaints about an unusual smell and texture. The affected products are in 284-gram packages with an expiration date of April 7, 2028. The specific barcodes are 7290016276756 and 7290019297420.
The company is urging consumers not to eat these products and is working to collect them from the market in coordination with the Ministry of Health. The fruit spreads are manufactured by Linwei Dashan Food Co. in China and imported into Israel by Dean Marketing and Roasting 2021 Ltd.
