Health Ministry Recalls Jams Due to Unusual Odor and Texture
Israel's Ministry of Health announced a public recall of two jam products, "Strawberry Jam" and "Four Fruits Jam," manufactured by Linwei Dashen Food Co., Ltd. in China and imported by Din Marketing and Roasting 2021 Ltd. The recall was initiated following consumer complaints about unusual smells and textures in the products.
The affected products are branded "Shakedia," weigh 284 grams, and have an expiration date of April 7, 2028. The specific barcodes are 7290016276756 for the Strawberry Jam and 7290019297420 for the Four Fruits Jam.
The Ministry of Health urged customers who purchased these jams not to consume them. The importing company, Din Marketing and Roasting 2021 Ltd., is working to collect and remove the products from sales channels. This recall is being conducted in coordination with the Food Services Division of the Central District of the Ministry of Health.
