Fruit Yogurts Recalled in Israel Over Unusual Smell and Texture
Dean Marketing and Roasting Company announced a recall of two "Shakedia" brand fruit yogurt products due to consumer complaints about unusual smell and texture. The affected products are the "Strawberry Fruit Yogurt" and the "4 Fruits Fruit Yogurt," both in 284-gram containers.
The recall, coordinated with the Ministry of Health's Central District Food Service, specifically targets products with an expiration date of April 7, 2028, and barcodes 7290016276756 or 7290019297420. These yogurts are manufactured in China by Linwei Dashen Food.
Consumers who purchased these products are urged not to consume them. The company is working to collect the yogurts from distribution channels. The reason for the unusual sensory characteristics has not been disclosed.
