Dean Marketing and Roasting 2021 Ltd. has issued a recall for two of its "Shakedia" brand fruit spreads: "Strawberry Fruit Delight" and "4 Fruit Delight." The voluntary recall, conducted in coordination with the Health Ministry's Central District Food Service, follows consumer complaints regarding unusual odor and texture in the products.
The company is actively working to collect the affected items from store shelves. The recalled products are packaged in 284-gram containers, have an expiration date of April 7, 2028, and can be identified by barcodes 7290016276756 and 7290019297420. The manufacturer is Linwei Dashang Food Co. Ltd. from Shandong, China.
