Israel Strikes Hamas Weapons Depots in Gaza
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency announced on September 9 that they had struck three locations in the Gaza Strip, destroying three Hamas weapons depots. According to Israeli security forces, the targeted sites stored weapons, explosives, anti-tank missiles, and other military equipment.
The IDF stated that these operations are part of an ongoing effort to degrade Hamas's military capabilities and prevent the organization from rearming or accumulating weapons for attacks against Israeli forces.
The military added that it would continue to take action to counter Hamas's military buildup and its ability to launch attacks.
