Israel Forces Destroy Hamas Weapons Depots in Gaza

The Israeli military and Shin Bet security agency conducted operations in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, destroying three large Hamas weapons depots. These facilities stored various armaments, including explosives, roadside bombs, and anti-tank missiles intended to target Israeli forces.

The strikes were part of ongoing military operations aimed at degrading Hamas's military capabilities and preventing the rebuilding of its combat infrastructure. The IDF emphasized that forces continue to operate decisively to thwart any attempts by Hamas to restore its military strength or stockpile weapons for attacks against Israeli soldiers.

These operations follow a series of recent actions by the IDF in Gaza, including the destruction of over a kilometer of underground tunnels and the targeted elimination of senior Hamas operatives posing a direct threat. The IDF stated that forces in the southern command are deployed in the area and will continue to neutralize immediate threats.

This action in Gaza is occurring concurrently with other IDF operations in different arenas. Last week, forces eliminated a terrorist in the village of Aqraba, near the West Bank city of Nablus, after he barricaded himself in a structure and threw Molotov cocktails and explosives at them. Soldiers from the Nahal Brigade's reconnaissance unit killed the terrorist while he was armed with a knife and intended to attack soldiers.
