Bennett, Lapid Unveil United "Achieved" Party List for Knesset Election
Former Prime Ministers Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid revealed the full candidate list for their new "Achieved" (Be'ahdut) party on Sunday, ahead of the 26th Knesset elections. The list aims to bridge political divides, incorporating figures from both Bennett's and Lapid's previous political camps, alongside new public figures.
Bennett's faction holds a slight majority in the top ten positions, with six candidates originating from his previous political base, while four come from Lapid's "Yesh Atid" party. The second ten positions show a more balanced representation, with five candidates from each side.
The "Achieved" list includes prominent figures from the Knesset and public life, such as Merav Ben Ari, Noam Tibon, Eitan Ginzburg, Merav Cohen, and Ram Ben Barak. Several candidates also have prior experience in senior public sector roles.
During the list's unveiling event, Bennett stated, "You will see here a highway of action that this country has never seen before. The government of October 7th destroyed, and the government of October 27th will repair." The party aims to present a unified front, combining experienced politicians with new faces to address the nation's challenges.
