Yesh Atid Unveils Knesset List with New Faces Amidst Departures
Yesh Atid party leader Yair Lapid announced the party's slate for the upcoming Knesset elections on Saturday evening. Merav Ben-Ari is placed second on the list, followed by Noam Tibon, Merav Cohen, and Ram Ben Barak. Lapid described the list selection process as "unprecedented in the history of Israeli politics," asserting it is "the strongest team in the Knesset" and that "Israel is still a democracy mainly thanks to them."
Addressing the party's expected reduction in Knesset seats, Lapid stated, "We all understand that Yesh Atid will occupy about 40% of the 'Together' list for the upcoming Knesset, but this is not a dissolution, it is a rebuilding." Naor Shiri is listed in sixth place, followed by Vladimir Beliak, Yorai Lahav-Hertzanu, Yasmin Sacks Friedman, Netta Attias, Moshe (Kinley) Tur-Paz, Simone Davidson, Shelly Tal Miron, Roni Pentanesh Malkai, and Mati Tzarfati.
The final list was released following several prominent members' departures announced last week. Yoav Segalovitz was the first to leave, subsequently joining the Ra'am party. Following him, Elazar Stern, Meir Cohen, Mickey Levy, Karin Elharrar, and Michal Shir announced their withdrawal from the upcoming elections.
