Video Shows Suspect Pushing Brother Into Hidden Pit in Jerusalem
Security camera footage has emerged showing the moments leading up to an alleged attempted murder in Jerusalem's Gilo neighborhood, where a 28-year-old man is suspected of trying to kill his mentally ill brother by throwing him into a hidden pit.
The video, filmed on Tuesday around 12:30 PM, captures three family members approaching the concealed pit. The suspect is seen carrying a chair as he descends towards the pit, accompanied by his two brothers, one of whom is the alleged victim and the other a minor.
At one point in the footage, the victim is already inside the pit. Shortly after, the suspect and the minor brother leave the scene, leaving the victim alone in the pit. The 28-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder.
