Man Assaults Partner in Jerusalem Home in Front of Their Young Son
A 29-year-old East Jerusalem resident was charged with assaulting his partner during a domestic dispute at their home in Jerusalem. According to police, the man struck the woman multiple times in the face and head, knocked her off the bed, and dragged her by her hair toward the entrance of the house. Their young son was present during the attack.
The incident came to light after a police call reporting domestic violence. Officers from the Oz station in the Jerusalem district arrived at the scene, arrested the suspect, and took him in for questioning. The investigation revealed that the assault occurred amid a verbal argument and exchange of insults between the couple.
The victim sustained injuries including bruises and swelling to her face and hand. She required medical treatment and was hospitalized. Following the investigation and collection of evidence, the Jerusalem District Police Prosecution filed charges against the man for causing significant bodily harm to his partner.
