Man Suspected of Attempted Murder After Throwing Brother into Trash Bin

Jerusalem police have arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of attempting to murder his brother by throwing him into a hidden trash bin in the Gilo neighborhood. The incident came to light when passersby witnessed the act and immediately alerted the authorities. Emergency rescue teams responded swiftly, extracting the victim from the bin. He was transported to a local hospital in moderate condition.

Investigators from the Moriah police station in Jerusalem launched an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the victim's fall into the bin. Evidence, findings, and documentation were collected from the scene. These efforts led investigators to develop suspicion against the victim's brother, who was subsequently apprehended and taken in for questioning regarding the alleged attempted murder.

The suspect is scheduled to appear before the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court, where police will request an extension of his detention to facilitate the ongoing investigation.
