IDF Strikes Hezbollah Targets in Southern Lebanon
Lebanese media reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted strikes in the village of Al-Mansouri in southern Lebanon. According to the reports, the IDF used drones to deliver explosive-filled containers into buildings before detonating them remotely.
The reports emerged amid other regional news, including an Egyptian court sentencing a model to death for drug trafficking, and Iranian officials issuing new threats following an American attack on oil tankers. The US also imposed sanctions on a Turkish bank for aiding Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, leading to diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions.
Additionally, the US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Harkabi, visited the Palestinian village of Turmus Ayya in the Ramallah district to assess the situation. During his visit, Harkabi spoke with foreign and Arab media outlets.
