Israel Intercepts Hezbollah Drone, Strikes Southern Lebanon

The Israeli military announced on Friday evening that it had intercepted a drone launched by Hezbollah towards its forces in what it described as the "security zone." Commandos fired at the drone, successfully neutralizing it without any Israeli casualties.

The military declared the drone launch a "violation" by Hezbollah and stated that it was conducting retaliatory airstrikes on targets in southern Lebanon.

Lebanese sources reported that the Israeli airstrikes resulted in at least four fatalities and several injuries. Initial reports indicated two people were killed and one injured in an attack on the Rweiss neighborhood in Nabatieh. Another person was injured in an airstrike on Ain al-Tineh in the Beqaa West region. Additionally, two individuals were killed and several others injured in a strike on the Ramadiyeh area in Tyre, while four people were wounded in an attack on Mيفدون in the Nabatieh district.
