IDF Kills Hamas and Islamic Jihad Commanders in Gaza Strikes

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed on Friday that they killed two senior terrorist commanders in Gaza during strikes the previous night. One of the targeted individuals was Ibrahim Nabil Ibrahim Bass, a Hamas military wing commander involved in the October 7 massacre, who was killed in an attack near the Shati refugee camp. The second was Hamdi Ahmed Hamed Kahl, head of the observation unit in the Islamic Jihad military wing, eliminated in a separate strike near Zabra.

The IDF stated that throughout the ongoing conflict and recently, these terrorists have been orchestrating attacks against Israeli forces and civilians while attempting to rebuild their organizations' capabilities, violating the ceasefire repeatedly. The operations aimed to neutralize immediate threats posed by these groups. The Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area under the current agreement and will continue to act to eliminate any imminent dangers to Israel.
