המשטרה הודיעה היום (ו') כי הוארך עד יום ראשון מעצרו של החשוד שהשליך חפץ לעבר ראש הממשלה לשעבר נפתלי בנט, בעת ששהה במסעדה בבני ברק. החשוד, שנעצר הלילה על ידי שוטרי תחנת בני ברק-רמת גן ולוחמי מג"ב מרכז, נחקר ונכלא.

בית המשפט המחוזי בתל אביב קיבל את ערר החשוד וקיצר את מעצרו, זאת לאחר שבית משפט השלום האריך קודם לכן את מעצרו עד ליום שני. החקירה בנושא נמשכת.
