Former Israeli PM Naftali Bennett Has Object Thrown at Him at Restaurant
Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who also chairs the "Achim La'Ach" party, visited a restaurant in Bnei Brak on Thursday evening to film one of his "parliament" videos, which he has been posting on social media. According to a police statement, an object was thrown at Bennett by an individual present at the scene. Bennett was unharmed, and the suspect was apprehended.
Video footage from the event shows chaos, with right-wing activist Mordechai David also seen shouting at Bennett. The police reported that "during a personal visit by a public figure to a restaurant in Bnei Brak, a passerby threw an object that did not hit the figure. Police officers from the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan station who were present at the scene immediately arrested the suspect, who is now being brought in for questioning at the police station."
