Bottle Thrown at Naftali Bennett During Bnei Brak Visit; Suspect Arrested

Naftali Bennett, chairman of the "Bayit Yehudi" party, visited the city of Bnei Brak as part of his election campaign. During the visit, Bennett entered a restaurant to engage with the Haredi public. However, some attendees reacted negatively to his presence, leading to a disturbance.

During the commotion, some individuals shouted "antisemitic" at Bennett. The incident escalated when a passerby threw a glass bottle towards Bennett. Fortunately, the bottle missed him and no one was harmed. The police quickly apprehended the suspect accused of throwing the bottle, who is now being questioned.

Right-wing activist Mordechai David also arrived at the restaurant, attempting to confront Bennett. Bennett responded by telling him, "I suggest you enlist quickly, because the moment I am prime minister, you will not see a shekel from the state."

The Israel Police stated, "During a public figure's visit to a restaurant in Bnei Brak, a passerby threw an object that did not hit the figure. Police officers from the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan station who were present immediately arrested the suspect, who is now being investigated at the police station."
