Jerusalem Police Kill Two Suspects Amid Violent Silwan Family Clash
Jerusalem police have launched a murder investigation after one of the injured in a violent incident in East Jerusalem died in hospital. The event marked a severe escalation in Silwan, where a family feud erupted into violence involving gunfire, Molotov cocktails, and fireworks. Police and Border Police forces identified two suspects armed with knives and incendiary devices who endangered lives. Officers fired at the suspects to neutralize the threat, killing both at the scene. Jerusalem District Commander Chief Superintendent Avshalom Peled arrived at the scene to conduct a situation assessment with the forces present.
