GLAM42 Launches Sephora Collection Private Label Products in Israel

The story · English

GLAM42, an Israeli retail chain operating five stores in shopping malls, will begin marketing Sephora Collection products, the private label of the international cosmetics company Sephora, in Israel. This move does not involve opening Sephora stores in Israel, unlike the global Sephora outlets that feature a wide range of prominent brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez, and Fenty by Rihanna.

Ahead of the product launch, GLAM42 has partnered with the Azrieli Group to create pop-up spaces in Azrieli Mall in Tel Aviv, Ayalon Mall in Ramat Gan, and Malha Mall in Jerusalem. These products will also be sold through GLAM42’s existing stores and are expected to be added to its online platform in the future.

For years, major Israeli retailers, including Harel Wiesel, owner of the Fox Group, have attempted to bring Sephora stores to Israel but have been unsuccessful despite their extensive experience in managing and enhancing international brands locally. Sephora is a global cosmetics chain owned by the French luxury conglomerate LVMH, which also owns brands like Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, Fendi, Christian Dior, Donna Karan, and Givenchy.

Founded in Paris in 1969 by Dominique Mandonnaud, Sephora operates over 3,400 stores across 35 countries in Europe and the United States, with estimated revenues of $18 billion.
