Sephora Launches First Stores in Israel on August 20 with Six Shops and Five Corners

The story · English

Sephora is officially entering the Israeli market, opening six standalone stores and five in-store "corners" on August 20. The initial locations include Azrieli malls in Tel Aviv, Malha, and Ayalon, with additional stores planned in other malls. The in-store corners will be set up within Glam 42 outlets, the franchisee bringing Sephora to Israel, including locations at MEEX Sharona in Hod Hasharon, Hadera Mall, Star Center Ashdod, Dead Sea Mall, and Yirka My Baby.

At launch, Sephora Israel will only offer the Sephora Collection brand, which accounts for over 70% of the global chain's sales but excludes popular international brands like Huda Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, Rare Beauty, and Fenty Beauty. This pilot phase aims to establish the brand locally, with plans to introduce the full range of Sephora brands under the LVMH group within two years if successful.

The Sephora Collection features a wide variety of makeup and skincare products, including hand masks, gel toners, body perfumes, long-lasting liquid lipsticks, foundations, concealers, volumizing mascaras, hyaluronic acid face masks, caffeine eye patches, professional makeup brushes, sponges, and gift sets. Some LVMH brands such as Benefit, Fresh, KVD Beauty, and perfumes from Guerlain and Givenchy are also expected to be available.

Glam 42, which started in the Dead Sea Mall with a beauty and fragrance store, will sell Sephora products alongside another franchisee set to launch in October. The franchisee is currently assessing market conditions and partners to expand Sephora's presence in Israel.
