Israeli Prison Officer Arrested for Obstructing Murder Investigation in Jerusalem
A 34-year-old female prison officer from Hod Hasharon was arrested this morning on suspicion of obstructing the investigation into the murder of Benyahu Razi in Jerusalem. The officer, who serves at a detention facility in central Israel, is suspected of having a personal relationship with a close relative of the main suspect, Aviaor Shason, who is currently serving a sentence there. Authorities believe she acted to hinder the investigation and assist the suspect, who remains at large. The arrest was carried out in a joint operation by the Jerusalem Police and Prison Service investigators. The manhunt for the murder suspect continues.
