Israeli Prison Officer Arrested for Obstructing Investigation into Benyahu Razi Murder

A 34-year-old female officer from the Israel Prison Service (IPS) was arrested on suspicion of obstructing the investigation into the murder of Benyahu Razi. The arrest took place on July 22, 2026, following a joint operation by police and IPS investigators. The officer, stationed at a central Israel detention facility where a close relative of the main suspect is serving a sentence, allegedly maintained personal contact with the inmate and aided in hindering the murder investigation and assisting the fugitive suspect.
