22-Year-Old Eldar Dayan Missing After Fight Near Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park

Eldar Dayan, a 22-year-old from Dimona, has been missing since last Friday after a night out in Tel Aviv. Dayan and two friends traveled to central Tel Aviv in the afternoon and were last seen near Yarkon Park following a reported altercation. Before losing contact, Dayan messaged his girlfriend saying, "There's a mess here," but his phone has since been switched off and he has not been heard from.

According to initial reports, the group stayed at the Bella Hotel before heading to Yarkon Park and the Yarkon River area, where a fight broke out between Dayan's group and another. After the incident, Dayan and his friends left the area and arrived at a nearby Paz gas station early in the morning. Conflicting witness accounts describe Dayan either continuing on foot from the gas station or fleeing the scene, while the whereabouts of the vehicle mentioned in early testimonies remain unclear.

Dayan's family has expressed deep concern over the inconsistent versions provided by his friends. His aunt, Hagar, stated, "We have no idea where he is after a week and a half, and the friends' stories contradict each other. There is a great lack of clarity about what happened that night. We are not getting clear answers." His mother traveled from Eilat to closely follow the police investigation.

The Dimona police are leading the investigation and conducting extensive searches in cooperation with canine units around Tel Aviv and the Yarkon River. Authorities have appealed to the public for any information regarding Dayan's whereabouts, urging anyone with knowledge to contact the police immediately.
