Man From Migdal HaEmek Charged With Murder in Afula Car Bombing After Two Months
A 38-year-old resident of Migdal HaEmek is set to be charged with the murder of Obnek Dinko, who died in a car bomb explosion in Afula about two months ago. Investigation materials revealed that the suspect began preparations approximately eight hours before the blast, traveling from Tivon to Afula and conducting preparatory actions at the scene and on access routes. The indictment will be filed at the Nazareth-North District Court following the conclusion of the investigation. The police reported that the suspect was arrested within hours of the explosion, and during his detention, the stolen vehicle used in the attack was recovered. The car had stolen license plates from an identical vehicle. Northern District Commander Major General Meir Eliyahu stated that top officers are working intensively to solve ongoing cases, ensure offenders face justice, and guarantee that all involved in serious crimes are imprisoned.
