IDF Says 769 Brigade Raid in Southern Lebanon Killed Over 30 Militants
The IDF said the 769th Brigade Combat Team completed a major operation in the village of Debin in southern Lebanon, about 12 kilometers inside the country and north of the forward defense line. The raid was carried out under Division 91 and was aimed at damaging Hezbollah terror infrastructure.
According to the military, Debin had served as a significant Hezbollah base for organizing terror plots and anti-tank fire against Israel and IDF forces. The operation included extensive airstrikes alongside ground activity.
The Air Force struck more than 50 targets during the operation, destroyed dozens of terror facilities, and located important weapons depots. More than 30 militants were killed from the air, the IDF said.
The army added that it will continue operating to remove any threat to Israel.
