IDF Destroys Over 200 Terror Infrastructure Sites and Kills 80 Militants in South Lebanon

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) completed their seventh combat cycle in South Lebanon after two months of operations aimed at neutralizing threats to Israel. The forces, operating under Brigade 551 and Division 91, identified and destroyed more than 200 terror infrastructure sites, including a strategic underground tunnel and two additional tunnels located in the village of Majdal Zun. They also eliminated over 80 militants affiliated with Hezbollah.

The destroyed facilities included launch positions, weapons caches, and observation posts. The IDF emphasized its commitment to preventing Hezbollah from rebuilding its terror infrastructure or harming Israeli civilians. The operation involved coordinated efforts, including air force strikes, to dismantle the terror network in the region.

The IDF spokesperson stated, "The IDF will continue to act to remove all threats to the citizens of Israel and its forces and will not allow the Hezbollah terror organization to restore its terror infrastructure or harm Israeli civilians." The operation marks a significant effort to maintain security along Israel's northern border by disrupting Hezbollah's capabilities in southern Lebanon.
