Clashes Erupt Between Beitar Jerusalem Fans and Police in Larnaca Ahead of Conference League Match

According to local Cypriot media, a small group of Beitar Jerusalem supporters caused disturbances in the city center, damaging property and carrying dangerous objects. The police responded by deploying a large force and used tear gas to disperse the crowd, preventing further escalation. Following the incidents, a nighttime manhunt was launched to identify and arrest those involved. Police sources in Cyprus noted that the swift intervention helped avoid more serious violence, and some fans were escorted back to their accommodations under heavy security just before midnight. Ahead of the match, security measures around the AEK Arena and throughout Larnaca have been significantly increased to prevent further clashes and maintain public order.
