IDF and Shin Bet Kill Hamas Commander Behind October 7 Israeli Attacks and Hostage Taking
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet security agency announced the killing of Adham Ibrahim Shaaban Nesman over the past weekend. Nesman was the head of operations for Hamas's Gaza City Brigade and had led the October 7 attacks into Israel, during which he held numerous Israeli hostages. In recent years, he served as the commander of Hamas's Nukhba Battalion. Among the hostages he detained were Romi Gonen, Emily Damari, Gali and Ziv Berman, Eitan Mor, Matan Angrist, and Omri Miron. This operation marks a significant blow to Hamas's military leadership responsible for the deadly incursions and hostage crisis.
