IDF Kills Hamas Cell Commander Involved in Nir Oz Family Kidnapping
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated Asma Kamal Shadah Abu Tayem, a Hamas military wing cell commander, in a strike in southern Gaza Strip. Abu Tayem was involved in the October 7 attack on the Nir Oz kibbutz, where he participated in the kidnapping of Nurit Cooper, Amiram Cooper (deceased), and Alexander Danzig (deceased). The targeted killing was carried out via a drone strike on a tent in the Khan Yunis area. Abu Tayem served in the eastern battalion of the Khan Yunis Brigade within Hamas's military forces.
