IDF Kills Hamas Terror Cell Leader Behind October 7 Nir Oz Attack

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the killing of Salem Gamal Abd al-Rahman Abu Labad, the head of the Hamas Nukhba cell responsible for the attack on Nir Oz kibbutz on October 7. In a separate operation over the weekend, the IDF also eliminated Muhammad Abd al-Nasser Muhammad Khatib, commander of Hamas's Maghazi Brigade. According to an IDF spokesperson, both militants were actively attempting to plan further terrorist attacks against Israeli forces.
