Air India will resume its direct flight route between Tel Aviv and New Delhi on December 1st, marking a return to regular operations in Israel. The airline plans to operate five flights per week on this route.

Service was halted once more in May 2025 following a Houthi missile strike near Ben Gurion Airport, and the airline has not operated regularly since.
Air India is currently the sole carrier offering direct flights between Israel and India. Previously, passengers traveling to India often relied on flights through Gulf states or connections in Europe. New Delhi also serves as a key transit hub for onward travel to East Asia.
